I used to think art belonged on walls, quiet, observed, and framed. Then, at Cornell, I discovered product design and realized creativity could live beyond the canvas, in the tools, screens, and moments people interact with every day. That realization changed how I saw my craft: product design wasn’t just about expression but about connection.

From drawing on chalkboards at four to designing for platforms like Klook with over 70 million monthly users and leading Cornell’s course management system used by more than 140 courses, I found my medium—using art and product design to reach people where they are. For me, product design is not only about making something beautiful, it is about creating experiences that move people, quietly but meaningfully, in their everyday lives.
