CMSX is Cornell’s course management system, where students submit homework and course staff and professors manage courses, drop students, and perform other administrative and instructional tasks. The system was originally built in 2004, so its UI is outdated. My task this semester is to create a scalable design system that updates the entire interface to a modern, consistent UI. This also reduces design-to-handoff time by minimizing repetitive code.
